District Council of Loxton Waikerie
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Council is seeking applications from a highly motivated and
enthusiastic person for the full time position of Construction
and Town Maintenance Plant Operator. This position will be
based at the Waikerie Works Depot.
Remuneration for this position will be paid at Grade 4
(dependent on level of experience and qualifications) of the
Local Government Employees Award and Loxton Waikerie
Council’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.

to meter reading
in the River Murray
The Department of Environment, Water and
Natural Resources (DEWNR) has changed
how it collects meter data for all metered
water users. All metered water licence
holders are now required to read their own
meters and provide a reading to DEWNR as
a condition of their licence. This requirement
begins on 1 October 2014.
Each meter reading must be taken within the
first 14 days of the months of October, January,
April and July. Readings can be submitted
online at www.environment.sa .gov.au/
DEWNR will continue to read meters for water
resources where the water resource is under
significant stress or where there is considered
to be a compliance risk.
