Notice is hereby given that Council proposes to issue a lease to the Waikerie District Machinery
Preservation Society Incorporated over 1 Rowe Street Waikerie (CR5388/838) for the purpose
of preservation and display of machinery.
It is proposed that the term of the lease be for a period of 5 years with a minimum lease fee of
$250.00 per annum to apply, all outgoings to be the responsibility of the lessees.
Pursuant to Section 202(2) of the Local Government Act 1999 comment regarding the
proposed issue of the lease is now being sought from the public during a consultation period
commencing on Wednesday the 4 March 2015.
Written submissions regarding the proposal should be submitted to the Chief Executive Officer,
PO Box 409 Loxton SA 5333 no later than 5:00pm on Wednesday the 25 March 2015.

FREE GREEN WASTE
Due to the success of the recent Free Green
Waste Disposal Day held in December, Council
will be holding another Free Green Waste
Disposal Day for residents/ratepayers in the Mid
Murray Council area in March 2015.
Proof of residency/ratepayer will be required at
time of disposal. This proof of identification could
be your driver's licence, rate's notice and/or rent
This disposal day is free at all Council Waste
Transfer Stations and will further assist with fire
prevention in the Mid Murray Council area during
the 2014/2015 Fire Danger Season.

As part of a Vodafone-Hutchison Australia plan to upgrade its existing
telecommunications facility at Woolpunda Homestead, off Sturt Highway,
22km east of Waikerie, Woolpunda SA 5332.
● The works will include the replacement of Tower Mounted
Ampliﬁers (TMAs) and two omni antennas at the existing mobile
base station on the subject site. Along with minor internal
equipment shelter works.
● Vodafone regard the proposed installation as a Low Impact
