Marketing program for businesses
CONNECTING Up will
deliver a free digital marketing
program, exclusive to the
Loxton Waikerie area and
targeted at not-for-profits (NFP)
and small business during
March and April.
In partnership with District
Council of Loxton Waikerie, Con-
necting Up identified a need for digi-
tal marketing training and mentor-
ing in the area, and worked together
to create a program to help provide
solutions to NFPs and businesses.
The program consists of face-to-
face workshops, online webinars,
one-on-one digital mentoring and
access to online resources.
Access to the complete program
is free for all, with preference for
mentoring given to those attending
the workshops. Program workshops
will be delivered in council's cham-
bers at Loxton on March 11 and
Waikerie on March 12.
The digital marketing program is
funded through a $10,000 grant from
Australia Post’s Our Neighbour-
hood Community Grants program,
which funds projects to build health-
ier, more vibrant and more inclusive
communities across Australia. This
grant was obtained towards the end
of 2014, with the sole purpose of this
grant to provide digital marketing
training to the local area.
“We are excited to bring this
training exclusively to the Loxton
Waikerie area,” Connecting Up com-
munity engagement co-ordinator
Mathan Allington said.
Mathan is the presenter for the
workshops and mentoring and
works with the NFP sector to pro-
