TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
The District Council of Loxton Waikerie hereby exercises
the power pursuant to Section 33 of the Road Traffic Act,
1961 and Clause "F" of the Instrument of General Approval
of the Minister dated 12 March 2001 to:-

1961, hereby make an order directing that the
following schedule of roads be closed to traffic
between 8:30pm and 11:30pm on Saturday
24 January 2015 for the 2015 Waikerie Australia Day
(2) Leonard Norman Drive, Waikerie 8.30pm - 11.30pm
(3) Pursuant to Section 33 (1)(b) of the Road Traffic Act
1961, hereby make an order directing that persons
taking part in the Event be exempted (in relation to
the roads) from the duty to observe Australian
Road Rules 230 and 238

Any person having any claim on the proceeds of a
superannuation fund beneft payable from Prime Super
in respect of the Late Sonia Rathmell who died on 4
August 2012, must send particulars of their claim to the

Town Maintenance Plant Operator
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Council is seeking applications from a highly motivated
and enthusiastic person for the full time position of
Construction and Town Maintenance Plant Operator. This
position will be based at the Waikerie Works Depot.
Remuneration for this position will be paid at Grade 4
(dependent on level of experience and qualifications) of
the Local Government Employees Award and Loxton
Waikerie Council's Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.

carry out duties which may include general product
assembly, plastic moulding, 12 volt DC wiring,
forklifting and other associated work.
The person must have a forklift licence and be
competent in forklift operation and have at least
basic computer skills.
The person we are looking for must be a willing
worker who can work with minimal supervision as
part of a small diverse team.
The position reports to the Production Supervisor
and will be subject to a trial period and is expected to
be a full time position.

Community Wastewater Management
System (CWMS) Advisory Committee
Holiday Home Area
The CWMS Advisory Committee is charged with the
responsibility of making recommendations to Council
on all matters associated with Council's community
wastewater management system programme (a CWMS
is a system which collects, treats and disposes of effluent
from holiday home areas). The Advisory Committee
comprises a mix of elected member representatives and
holiday home area representatives.
Expressions of interest are sought from persons
interested in filling five vacant holiday home area
representative positions on the CWMS Advisory
The CWMS Advisory Committee meets every six
months (or as otherwise required), with holiday home
area representatives compensated for their time via a
meeting attendance fee.
