Council seeks applications from interested
members of the public who would be willing to
serve on the above Council Committee, for a
2 year period. The Blanchetown Community
Services Committee meets at least quarterly
and the purpose of the Committee is to make
recommendations to Council in relation to the
care, control and management of the following;
In addition the Committee is to carry out any
other function relating to the above matters, as
authorised by Council.
Residents and ratepayers of the Mid Murray
Council area are invited to nominate for one of the
positions that are available.
Nominations in writing outlining relevant details

(1) The Buildings situated on allotment 71,
Egerton Street, Blanchetown and the
maintenance of the grounds contained
in the above allotment.
(2) The Blanchetown Rural Transaction Centre
in the Blanchetown Hall premises situated
at lots 12 & 13 Shaw Street, Blanchetown.
(3) Access to community transport for eligible
(transport disadvantaged) residents.
(4) Oversee Community Projects that assist in
the development of the Blanchetown

Parent Information 2015
Materials and Services Charges for Year 8 to Year 12 will be $320.00.
Students studying the following subjects will be required to pay an
additional charge for course requirements:
Year 12 Physical Education $30.00
Year 11 & 12 Art/Photography $30.00
Year 11 & 12 Home Economics $25.00
The Materials and Services Charges were rati ed by Governing Council
at a general meeting held on 20th November 2014. (Please note that
the stationery packs are an additional cost and are not included in
the Materials and Services charge structure.)
All Parents/Caregivers will be invoiced in mid January and a list of
stationery requirements will also be sent with the invoice.
Payment for Materials and Services and uniforms will be accepted at
the following times from the school office:
Wednesday 21st January
9am -- 1pm
Thursday 22nd January
2pm -- 7pm
Friday 23rd January
9am -- 1pm
Payments will be accepted once school has recommenced if these
dates are not suitable.
Payment can be made by cash, cheque, direct debit and credit card.
The school offers EFTPOS facilities with $20 minimum and no cash out.
All Materials & Services Charges need to be paid by the end of
Term 2, 2015.
School Card -- if you think you may be eligible for school card,
information will be available at www.sa.gov.au under the heading
Education, Skills and Learning; or application forms will be available
from Wednesday 21st January 2015 from the school reception desk.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
The District Council of Loxton Waikerie hereby exercises
the power pursuant to Section 33 of the Road Traffic Act,
1961 and Clause "F" of the Instrument of General Approval
of the Minister dated 12 March 2001 to:-

taking part in the Event be exempted (in relation to
the roads) from the duty to observe Australian
Road Rules 230 and 238

habitat structures near the in-stream tree line with
each group of structures marked with a yellow
special marker buoy.

Expressions of Interest (EOI) are
open for Round 2 of the Advanced Food
Manufacturing (AFM) grants program.
A grant of between $25,000 and $100,000 for jointly
