District Council of Loxton Waikerie
District Council of Loxton Waikerie invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and
experienced contractors or businesses to provide services for pre fire season works on privately
owned land which may include:
Property owners have a duty of care to inhibit the outbreak of fire on their land and council
is developing a register of pre qualified contractors for property owners to consider, where
they cannot undertake required works themselves. Council will take no responsibility for the
service and/or works provided, or the costs associated with the service. The register is to assist
property owners make appropriate arrangements for the clearing, mowing and slashing of their
property and all negotiations regarding scope of works, price and completion will be direct
between the owner and contractor.
Contractors are to lodge their interest with Procurement Officer Mark McDonald at
email@example.com .gov.au by October 6th 2014.
Contractors must be able to meet the Contractor Management requirements that can be
obtained from council’s website www.loxtonwaikerie.sa .gov.au.

Patrol Grader Operator
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Council is seeking applications from a highly motivated
and enthusiastic person for the full time position of Patrol
Grader Operator. This position will report directly to the
Works Manager and will be based at the Waikerie Works
Remuneration for this position will be paid at Grade 6
(depending on level of qualifications and experience) –
Local Government Employees Award and Loxton Waikerie
Council’s Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.
